At DARCH, we believe that anyone and everyone can be trained in architecture. Anyone who enters the course will be equipped with essential skill sets to one day fully realize your ambition of contributing to the architectural and design industries. The unique pedagogy in place will aid in your holistic development into an adaptable, open-minded and motivated individual as well as a team player.

From laying your design foundations in the first year, to strengthening your analytical and conceptual thought processes by the third year, DARCH is a design-cum-technical program that adopts a unique project-based learning approach, to develop you into an investigative design innovator equipped with knowledge of the latest building technologies.

  • Study in an exploratory environment that values critical and creative thinking in hands-on studios.
  • Be equipped in the fundamentals of architectural design processes and practices through project work and out-of-classroom learning sessions.
  • Participate in overseas study trips and real-life projects with MNCs and government agencies through archiLAB, our student-centric agency.

Applicants must obtain:

i) the following GCE 'O' Level grades at not more than two sittings and

ii) 26 points or better for the net ELR2B2 aggregate score (i.e. English Language, 2 relevant subjects and best 2 other subjects, including CCA Bonus points)

Career Options

You could be:

  • An architectural assistant to render support in design development, documentation and presentation,
  • An architectural technologist to assist in technical aspects supporting micro design and detailing,
  • A sales executive or coordinator in companies involved in building materials/ finishes or architectural products
  • An architectural co-ordinator on building sites
  • A designer in graphics and other creative services
  • A designer in a computer graphics firm supporting architectural services

Further Studies

Our graduates have gained direct entry into the second or third year of degree courses in architecture in both local and overseas universities.A number of our outstanding graduates have also been awarded scholarships locally as well as overseas.
