The Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (DEEE) is Singapore’s most established engineering course with a history of more than 50 years. Today, more than 20,000 students have graduated from the course, which has been recognized by both local and foreign universities and industries.
With DEEE, you will gain engineering knowledge and skills related to a wide range of industries from aerospace, biomedical, robotics and even transportation, providing you with endless possibilities for your career.
What makes the DEEE unique?
Applicants must obtain:
i) the following GCE 'O' Level grades at not more than two sittings and
ii) 26 points or better for the net ELR2B2 aggregate score (i.e. English Language, 2 relevant subjects and best 2 other subjects, including CCA Bonus points)
|Aggregate Type: ELR2B2-C|
a) English Language

To be eligible for admission, you must also have sat for one of the following subjects:
It should be noted that applicants, particularly those who wish to pursue a career in electrical power engineering or as a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW), with colour vision deficiency may encounter difficulties meeting the course requirements and expectation, as this condition is required by the Energy Market Authority (EMA) of Singapore. Those with mild colour deficiency are required to undergo an in-house test.
The DEEE is a three-year full time programme.
Technical Modules (choose any two from the following)
Higher NITEC holders that gained admission directly to the Second Year will be placed in the Electrical & Electronic Engineering Options
Semester-long Internship Programme will replace Final Year Project for students in Rapid Transit Technology option.
Choose any two options provided the prerequisites are met. For example, to choose Aerospace Engineering option, students must have done Aerospace Engineering option in the second year.
Students do not require any prerequisites to do the Business and Microelectronics options.
Robotics & Control Engineering
Rapid Transit Technology
